I've slept way too much today. I had 2 naps, of 2 hours each, in addition to my 7 hour sleep. I don't know what's wrong with me. When Neal and I went to the cafe I was in line to order and pay and some guys cut in front of me to order and it made me mad because I was waiting to order. THey didn't care. Grrrrrrrrrrr, a pet peeve. Then the breadsticks we got were hardly seasoned at all, compared to the order before ours which was covered. :p

Friday was our hall formal and it was a lot of fun. The food was good, and we went bowling. I won the klutziest award, mostly due to the fact that I can't eat without spilling on myself. I did pretty good in bowling, too, with 2 stikes in a row. Taking bowling has improved me a lot, because I got 102. Um, Saturday was busy with me doing homework ALL DAY when I wasn't napping for 5 hours. Neal played softball all day. Oh yeah, and Friday was spring fling so while Neal played oozball (I have pictures!) Erinn and I wandered around. Mmm, free food. Neal and I are on half a break right now. With finals coming up and me being stressed out I decided it was best if we didn't spend so much time with each other. Sunday I spent MORE time on homework. I feel like it's all I do now. I did one of my job shadowing/training things for the front desk. 3 more to go... I went to the Free Joe rally and it wasn't nearly as large as I expected. There were 3 bands and like only 1 guy spoke. The president of the university and some cs teachers were supposed to but I didn't hear them. We left during the 2nd band because they sucked, and then came back for the 3rd which rocked so I bought a cd. I knew people in both of the bands so it was cool. After that I went to my mentor reception which wasn't much at all.

Yesterday I threw out my socks and when I realized it I started laughing soooooo hard. Erinn told me I needed to leave and go to the bathroom (because that was my goal) and I started laughing more because imagine me laughing while on the toilet then someone comes in and is like, "what the heck?" It's funny!

I got a 109 in bowling today, and our team got the highest score overall for today. I voted for my butt and it's currently in 2nd. I am sooo stressed out. I bombed my diff eq quiz. Yesterday he said it was 4.6 and 8.1 but it had a problem from 8.2 which we just went over yesterday and I don't understand. I was one of the last people to leave and I asked my teacher if he could go over the problem and he basically told me to read the book and do the problems because he wasn't going to go over it because we did a problem yesterday on it. I DO read the book and do the problems. In addition to all that, I have a physics quiz today that I hear is hard, plus my cs lab which I hear the same. I want to go home.

Tim put $10 in my jar for my butt. I'm shocked he put that much, but at least it gives me a chance of winning. He says there were 2 others running against me and 1 of them didn't look like it was a female's butt (too flat) and the other was wearing shiny sweatpants so I have some competition. We'll see what happens.

During the 2 hours that Neal and I were watching tv, I magically got a chunk taken out of my right hand pointer finger. It doesn't hurt, but there's a noticeable amount of skin missing. It's sooooo odd.

I used the sauna for the first time today. Derek invited me, and then Neal wanted to go so we all went with some of Derek's friends. I've never been in a sauna before. I don't like getting sweaty, and it was all itchy and yucky. After about half an hour my heart couldn't take it and I was feeling nauseous so we decided to leave. I'm sooooo tired now.

I never thought I'd be so glad to see rain. It's so humid today, even though it's only 50. Ahhh... Happy Easter everyone!

The funniest thing happened. I was sleeping with Neal last night and early this morning I woke up and turned to the other side. I saw Neal with his pillow over his head, so i moved it off his face and asked him why he had his pillow on his face. Neal said, "Because I put it there." I was like, "ok..." so I put the pillow back over his face and went to sleep. Neal has no recollection of this.

I just had the BEST dinner. It was Moo Goo Gai Pan and egg rolls! The cafeteria actually MADE this for us! It was soooo good, but it still doesn't beat Ye's.

ok, so you've all heard stories about my wacko linear algebra/diff eq teacher. I found out he has a webpage with lots of pictures of him. I couldn't stop laughing when I looked at it.

Ah, the best thing about today other than getting a 98 today for bowling was the fact that diff eq was cancelled so no quiz! SWEET! However, if I had known before bowling then I wouldn't have gotten up. And going to bowling today meant that I have 3 more absences I can take instead of 2, as a reward. I'm bowling good lately, because I got a 98 on Tuesday, too. More practice and I could be over 100... Now if only recitation was cancelled. I hear no attendance was taken for the ones that had it at 10 but I don't know if my ta would follow that.

Classes are optional today due to freezing rain. You know, it figures that it's on a Thursday. Every day where classes are optional has been either a Tuesday or Thursday. I know this because I always complain about it since I have a class these days where attendance is 50% of the grade. Additionally today, I have a quiz and a lab to go to. Also, one of my classes was already canceled, so it's like I'm wasting my cancelled class. Grrr.

I got the peer mentor job. This means I'll have 2 jobs next year, but the mentor thing is only about 4 hours a week I think. It's not often. Things are stressfull right now, and in a few weeks I'll have a very important decision to make. More on that later... I'm entereing the Best Booty Contest for spring fling. Everyone vote for my butt by putting money in my jar/box thing! I haven't decided which picture makes my butt win-worthy yet.

Marie said yesterday that when she saw Tim he didn't look sad about his girlfriend. It's true, the only time he was sad was when i asked and then he's been fine. That's so odd... Also, we were discussing Jehovah's Witnesses since he is one. He's celebrating the Last Supper tonight, instead of tomorrow like most other religions do. He said that they go by the ancient calendar and according to that today is the last supper. He doesn't celebrate other holidays though, like good Friday and Easter and Ash Wednesday. He calls them "national holidays" but if they were national then we'd have them off. On a random note, I saw a guy wearing a Cubs jersey and I said, "Cubs! Yeah!" He turned and gave me a funny look like "who are you? what the heck?" while I have him 2 thumbs up and grinned. Yeah, I scare people. In diff eq we had a long discussion about BLTs and Captain Planet, like how the heart dude was only there so there was someone representing each continent and that heart was a stupid power and such. It was fun. Then we all started singing the theme song. By "we" I mean the people I sit by: Alex, Tim, Rob, Molly, Moser (yeah, odd name, probably last name) and some people I have yet to get the names of even though they're in my classes. The thing is that it's hard to find out people's names when attendance isn't really taken or anything!

I saw Tim today and I feel bad that I'm mean to him. He wasn't in class Friday because his girlfriend died. She had a heart transplant when she was 13 and I guess it failed. My computer randomly restarted on me today which was frustrating.

I forgot to say that I crashed one of the sun computers. That's a rare thing to do. Ryan and I actually did it several times, which is impressive. Also, today it got to 76 which is amazing. I went for a long walk with Kim to enjoy the weather. Oh, and I managed to avoid Tim for 4 days! I hadn't seen him since Thursday but then I saw him going to the cafe just a couple hours ago and I hid so he didn't see me. I found out Alex doesn't like him either, and I thought he did so I wonder if ANYONE likes Tim. I got the job for the desk receptionist.

One of the stones in my tanzanite ring Neal gave me is lost. It makes me way sad. I've only had it a little longer than a month!

This is amazing! It just keeps getting warmer! It's 6:30 but 70 out! 70! My engineering exam took 20 minutes, so hopefully I did well. I got a 94 on my diff eq exam which made me exclaim "Holy crap!" because I expecting no higher than an 88. I thought it was hard too, and I had so many I had trouble with. I'm impressed with myself. I found out I'm not in the top 10% of the freshman class, which makes me sad. I have a 3.82 gpa and I'm not in the top 10% of 1000 students! Geez. My 2 interviews went well yesterday. I'll keep you posted about it.

I'm looking cute today. I'm wearing my skort with my rainbow brite shirt. I left my sandals at home though so I'm wearing my white badminton shoes and I feel like I'm in badminton because of memories of a skirt and gym shoes. It looks ok though. Erinn took a picture of me outside wearing this with snow behind me. It's 66 degrees right now! Frickin' awesomerific!

I highly encourage supporting Joe. I have posters up. I feel like putting Joe in debt for the rest of his life will effectively deprive him of a way to support himself and thus deprive him of his right to life given in the constitution. Besides, being all networked we could already share files without his index so if you want to go after him you need to go after Microsoft which is the one that allows you to see what other computers in your network are sharing. Additionally, Weezer SUPPORTS spreading it's mp3s and yet it's listed as one of the bands that is include in the legal brief. I'm angry. This is ridiculous.

The guy who the RIAA is suing for setting up picho is being sued for 98.7 billion dollars. That's basically going to ruin his life since he's never going to be able to pay that. He can't make that much for the rest of his life. I think that's horrible. He might as well die.

Ok, the WEIRDEST thing just happened to me. Most of you know how I believe in fate, right? Like, I believe in it like crazy and I have proof.

Ok, so today I installed Direct Connect for the 3rd time. The previous times I decided I didn't need more songs so I uninstalled it before even downloading anything. This third time I decided that there were some things I wanted badly and since I had time, I might as well download. So anyway, you have to choose a hub to download from and there are hundreds to choose from. I chose the first one I saw. In that particular hub there were 900 users. So anyway, I'm going through my list when someone starts talking to me with the direct connect chat. I was a little annoyed because I don't normally chat to people but I talked to the person anyway. I was downloading from him so he was commenting on the band I was downloading, Plain White T's (Melissa had told me to get a song). We were talking about that for a bit and he asked me if I was male or female, typical questions. Then he asked me where I was from and I told him Illinois but that I'm in Michigan right now for college. He told me he has a friend from Elgin who's going to Michigan Tech. I was surprised since that's quite a coincidence. I said I was from Hanover Park, and he said that until 2 years ago he lived there too! It turns out he lived like 2 streets away from me, at the corner of County Farm and Schick. That's coincidence number 2. I then asked who he knew at Michigan Tech and get this: he said Neal Anderson! I was like, holy crap! I told him that I'm dating Neal and he was astounded at all the coincidences. Out of all 900 users, I was the 1st one he talked to (and this is the first day he's used direct connect, too!) and he happened to pick the same hub as me. I happened to decided today I was going to download. Isn't this ODD? His name is Rob Hess, and we both went to Elgin. I swear, this had me shaking from the creepiness of it all. We talked for about 2 hours or so, and we have a lot in common. It was so weird, because then he asked me if I knew this other guy that Neal talks about, Streeter. I still can't get over how much of a coincidence this is.

It is WAY too cold for April. My diff eq exam was soooooo hard. Yesterday Derek borrowed my bras for a scavenger hunt, and because of them he won. THat's awesome and odd...
