At 6 PM Eastern time I realized that I'm 19. That was the first time it had crossed my mind that it is my birthday. I guess it's because it hasn't been the greatest birthday in the world. I'm going to thus celebrate my birthday tomorrow in hopes that it'll be better. I'd rather not talk about why it has been bad though.

Amica loved me when I got home. She peed several times and kept jumping on me. She really missed me. She looks a lot thinner too, so that medicine she's on is helping.

Apparently Neal kisses in his sleep. Last night he said (while sleeping) "I love you" then kissed me several times on the cheek. Isn't that sweet??? Awwwwww. I love him too. ^_^

I'm going home today! I'm so excited because I get to go to the Ash Wednesday service! I wish I could be home for Easter and Good Friday and all that. Lent is my favorite church season, and the time when I'm the most religious. I don't know what it is, but there's just something about it that I love.

Some lady in Florida got charged with possession of an alligator. Apparently she hit it with her car and then decided to keep it as a pet... Odd.

Tim called me hot today. NOT my cup of tea. I also have a mysterious dry spot on the back of my thigh that was bleeding and resembles a cigarette burn. It hurts. I had a couple a few months ago, but not as bad as this one. Neal's had them too, though we never had them at the same time. I have no idea what it is and it worries me.

I had my first experience as a broomball ref... I only did the timekeeping. I don't blow the whistle hard enough, but it's so cold! The stopwatch was constantly having the LCD freeze and I couldn't see anything because it was so cold out. It was too cold for me to stay out for another game. I feel bad I couldn't help out more, but I didn't dress warmly enough. I have a headache now from the cold.

The movie that I was thinking about was Darkness Falls. That looks like a good movie too.

I saw The Ring last night, and it was creepy. At least there wasn't lots of blood. The beginning was stupid though, and the ending sucked. It's open for a sequel, but it still sucked. What confused me though was that in the trailers I swear there was a scene with the boy going to get an MRI and a guy saying "Don't put him in the dark." YET, this never occured in the movie. It didn't matter if you were in the dark or not, and the boy was not too prominent. Was that for a different movie and I'm messed up?

Steph has FOOD POISONING!!! It is either that or a virus, but I don't really have a fever and Neal had commented about how the burger's didn't seem fully cooked on Sunday when we ate at Burger King. My whole abdomin hurts because my intestines are inflammed. Whoopdeedoo. I have pills I'm supposed to take every day until I feel better.

I think I have the stomach flu. It came upon me last night around 7 and just got worse as the night went on. Now it's worse even more. I have/had diarrhea, have a headache, small fever, abdominal pain, nausea. I feel terrible. I'm skipping linear algebra and probably skipping lunch. I have to go to physics though because I need to know what room my exam is in, and plus attendance is taken. I have an engineering meeting I need to go to also.

Josh apparently got spam from me last night. The weird thing is that I don't know his email address and he says it was from me... bizarre. It's as weird as Neal's computer hacking himself, me, and Erinn.

Us crazy Chicagoans. I have SO much homework to do, and I'm so stressed out. AHHHH!

I forgot to say that on Saturday we left Walmart and Neal set off the alarms because he had a hot pack thing in his pocket and Walmart sells those (even though he got it from me) and Ariel got stopped because he's black and apparently old women don't trust them. That really sucks. We played pool and ping pong again yesterday and Shorty shot the ping pong into my bra. I've never had that happen before, and it was funny. I felt like I didn't belong yesterday, and that I shouldn't have been there.

I had a nightmare last night that I almost drowned about 5 times. Since I have a phobia of drowning, that's no good and I couldn't sleep for about 3 hours later but Neal was no help in making me feel better. He just ground his teeth and shook his fist.

After we ate dinner the 5 of us went to play pool. It was so much fun!!!!!!!! Neal and I were against Bee and Ariel. Neal was making all the shots. I didn't get a single ball in. Then after 2 games of that (I think) we played one against one. Ariel beat Bee and Bee beat Neal and then Neal beat everyone but me. I actually played GOOD for once and I beat not only Neal, but Bee! We said it was a girlfriend thing because Bee was probably imagining me as Renee, plus I jinx Neal at mini-golf. I was laughing SO HARD and it only made me better! I was making shots I NEVER would have been able to make before! After that we went to see Jackass. I wasn't planning on going but Neal wanted me to go so I did and I regret it. It was the worst movie I've ever seen. I couldn't even watch half of it or I'd throw up.

Shorty, Bee, and Ariel actually came! We hung out for a bit, then we up to the SDC to play basketball. I wasn't going to go but Bee convinced me to which was a mistake. I was kind of ok until they decided to play a full court game so I sat like for 2 hours. Otherwise I was ok with shooting and just playing around. Near 5 Shorty and I jogged around. He can run the mile under 5 minutes. We were jogging pretty quickly and 3 laps around (4 is a mile) I had to stop because I had to pee and my chest was killing me. It still hurts and I'm coughing like I have tuburculosis. It hurts so much. It felt good running. I love running, even though I'm extremely out of shape. I should run more back at home, like during the summer.

I exaggerated. The snow pile was like only a story high, but it seemed taller. Derek broke a rib. He slipped on some ice and fell on a banister. :( Erinn, Neal, and I are going to take pictures of the snow statues today and then go to The Hot Chick sometime tonight. I slept a good 10 hours. Ahhhh.

WINTER CARNIVAL IS SO MUCH FUN!!! Erinn, Neal, and I went out to go mini golfing and look at the snow statues. The pep band had made a miniature golf course out of snow, only 8 1/2 holes. It was really hard to play. Neal had an awesome one where his ball jumped into the hole. Erinn lost her ball in the snow and had to get another. The last hole was supposed to be an automatic hole in one but Erinn and I both failed it. I had my first taste of deep fried twinkie and it was SO GOOD. I don't like twinkies but I had to try it. Erinn got a deep fried snickers, which I almost got too. I also got free chili, and some people were advertising free roasted nuts so I got some. I said to them, "I can never deny free stuff!" and then one of the guys (you can tell he was female deprived, being 3:1 ratio) said "Really? Hmmmmm." The snow statues are really awesome. Tomorrow I'm going to take pictures when they're all completed. One had seats and they were playing a movie on the snow tv they made! We watched a re-enactment of the Bible which was ok. After all this we decided to play in the huge snow piles in front of the dorm. They're at least 2 1/2 stories tall. Neal and I climbed to the top and Erinn took lots of pictures of us. It was undisturbed snow and I was sinking and it was fun. Neal kept pushing me and we rolled down the giant hills. Then we did it again. I love playing in the snow. My jeans were completely white. After we came in people copied us and played in it. We're always the first, like when Erinn and I played when we had the first lasting snowfall. Then I had to strip off my many layers- 3 pairs of socks, long underwear pants, jeans, 2 long underwear shirts, sweatshirt, coat, hat, hood, gloves. I was warm though, and no problems with freezing appendages even though we were out for over an hour. I'm so glad I came here. Winter Carnival is the best holiday ever, especially since we get 2 days off for it.

If you frostbite an appendage really bad they cut it off. What if it's your butt? How do they cut that off?

Even though I don't know them well, they're still cool and it's better than having no friends come up at all like mine.

My engineering lab practical wasn't that bad, thankfully. Tim smelled like vomit today and I tried to get rid of him several times but he always found me. I've sneezed 9 times today.

I saw Red Dragon with Neal last night and it scared the crap out of me. I was so scared I cried at some parts, and afterwards I had to sleep in Neal's room because I was so scared. It took him like 20 minutes to stop my shaking. Then I dreamt about it which wasn't cool.

Erinn, Marie, and I got an invitation to a frat party today. It was my first. It was for Beta Sigma Theta, but we didn't go. Who wants to go out walking in lots of snow when we don't even know where it was? It was funny because Erinn was wearing shorts and had a blanket over herself and it looked like she wasn't wearing any pants. One of the guys, Frank, said (because of that) that it was going to hot. He also said to me that he's seen me dance and that I'm good, and I denied it. Erinn and Marie were so confused and I explained that he was in my social dance class and we danced together a few times. Just was with Frank, but he didn't say much. He just said that I could invite Neal.

I ended up getting an 86% on world cultures. I'm sick. :( I was eating this morning and I couldn't swallow anything because my throat was swollen. It really stunk.

UGH! My world cultures exam blew my butt. How am I supposed to memorize what country in the world has the lowest GNI? The map part SUCKED and then the other part was ok... but still bad. My group all got done within 5 minutes- Erinn, then Derek, then Tim, then me. UNFORTUNETELY Tim waited for me and I got really annoyed. Like before the test he sat down in Derek's seat next to me and I told him "You can't sit there. You're NOT sitting there." really mean but it didn't help. THen after the test I said "You didn't have to wait for me" in the same tone but he didn't catch it and he tried to walk really close to me again. I kept moving away from him. I was hoping to see Neal on the way back since his class ends at 10 but I didn't, so I was forced to walk with Tim.

I just took the easiest midterm EVER. My linear algebra one was 5 questions, lots of points each but I was done after half an hour!!! Tim came late and was upset when someone was in his seat and was talking to me and I said, "It's not my fault. I'm trying to do my exam here." I'm SO glad some girl sat in his seat.

Do you know how weird it is not to be able to feel your toe because it is frozen? It's completely white, because I was outside so long watching Neal's broomball game. They tied, 0-0 after 2 overtimes. Neal made a goal but since it bounced out the ref didn't recognize it which SUCKED but it was an excellent game to watch. I screamed a lot.

Ugh, Tim smelled again today, and he wouldn't stop talking to me! He talked for like 10 minutes in linear algebra while I was trying to learn. Then after class I went into the bathroom to ditch him and when I came out I didn't see him so I started walking back to the dorm when he popped up behind me and grabbed my eyes to cover them and I said, "Get off!" ARG! He totally likes me even though he supposedly has a girlfriend but I DON'T LIKE HIM! Every chance I get I stress I have a boyfriend because I don't need him wanting me. Ewww... why must I attract nasty guys (with the exception of Neal of course)?

Yay! The teacher gave me an extra submission so now I have a 100 for my physics! I'm very grateful. There's a winter storm warning out and it's a whiteout so classes are optional for those commuting. I wouldn't go to class if one of them wasn't required and attendance 50% of my grade. That sucks. I have to do laundry today because I have no socks for tomorrow. That's not good when I'd have to walk through lots of snow. The frog charm Neal got me broke off my charm bracelet. That makes me really sad, so now I can't lose it so I can get it fixed at home.

Sucky butt. For physics webassign we have 5 tries to get the problems right. On my 4th try I had all but 1 right. I figured out the one I couldn't get so I entered it for my 5th except I forgot to enter the other numbers so instead of getting a 100% I got a 24% and it takes the last one you submit, not the highest which really upsets me because I don't fail. I emailed the teacher but he had to ask someone else so I don't know if I can fix my mistake or not.

I spent 2 1/2 hours on engineering today, and 4 hours yesterday on my homework. This really really sucks.

I think I am way too stressed out right now, because I'm all jittery. I'm shaking and feel really nervous. I feel all weak too, from the shaking. Something's wrong.
